  Popped and poured. Relatively transparent, slightly purple red in the glass. Nose is mostly smoked meat, but subtle. Fairly acidic red fruit on the palate, almost cranberry-like, followed immediately by something more mineral, somewhere between metal and slate. Flavors fade relatively quickly and are followed by medium tannins.
