  This Lirac wine is soft and plummy. Still has good fruit, but jammy like figs. Needs to be consumed this year. Tannins are soft and round.

  The first day this wine was ok but the second day it was a lot better. It could probably use some decanting. Lots of garbage on the nose and some dark fruit with a hint of black licorice. Garbage continues on the palate along with the fruit and a hint of chocolate pudding and some spice. The garbage and fruit continue on the finish. Starts off very smooth and then the acidity starts coming through towards the end and into the finish. Pairs well with spicy food in my opinion.

  Minerally and red fruit on the nose. A bit of tobacco on the back of the palate...kind of like when you smoke a realy strong cigar, that feeling you get on the back of the tongue... medium finish of about 30 seconds. A touch, just a touch mind you, of leather on the finish. Not a great wine, but good. I'm glad I have another bottle.

  On the nose, currant, raspberry, and some herbaceousness and spice (not green). On the palate, medium-bodied with some earth and Rhone funk. Nice medium length finish, with the tannins rounder than two years ago, though still present. Drinking well now, maybe better with another year.
