  • Bright straw. A relatively restrained nose: baked lemon meringue? Quite subtle anyway. On the palate, a lovely creamy texture, but the aromas and flavours are still pretty restrained. A touch of oak in the background. A very classy Chardonnay; I might have guessed it was a good (but not great) Chablis. Cork, 13%.
