A little bit more going on than the Clifford Bay, a little less candied but still very punchy aromatics. 30% Awatere fruit which gives it a more rounded character and allot more complexity.

Super Heady aromas - typical gooseberry and grapefruit, but also some floral underpinnings as well. Crisp and crunchy textures. Gravel and hints of sweet citrus, with a long, drawn out finish. Candied lemon peel.

Very good bottle. Perfect with pork piccata and garlic broccoli.

Pleasant wine overall and a decent value at $10. A bit heavy/ripe on the fruit.
