  Au nez : arômes balsamiques, d'épices, de fines herbes grillées, de bois fumé, de groseille et de prune...très beau ! Rond et mûr avec des tannins fins, texturé...umami, avec des saveurs de fruits mûrs entrelacés d'épices (chêne). Belle structure avec une longue finale sur des notes de chocolat noir. Boire d'ici 1-2 ans. 91+

  I rated this pretty high. It is worthy of the rating. An awesome nose of rich berries and leather. A palate of berries, stone, and leather. And a long finish with the tannins structure firm but we’ll balanced.

  I love Rodney Strong wines, but this was one of my least favorites. It had way too much bell pepper and green herbaceous notes. I prefer a Cab with dark fruit so it just wasn’t my style, but doesn’t mean it isn’t a well made wine.
