Opened to deglaze a langostino pasta, but enjoyed it along side the dish. This remains really solid, perfumed, applely-pear redolent, well-balanced, and cleanly made wine in the crazy sub-$10 price range. While this doesn't have the weight and depth of mid-level Alsatian PG, it most certainly blows away most Italian PGs that make their way to the US. There isn't much to think about here. Nice juice. I would definitely re-buy at a similar price point.

((Day 1)) color: pale gold; nose: floral, peach; taste: slightly lighter-bodied mouth feel, zesty and crisp fruit taste, fresh-tasting medium acidity, medium-length finish; overall: simple, pleasant patio sipper, drinking well as of Spring 2022 (and likely best enjoyed within the next 12 months), probably would pair well with garlicky shrimp or a brunch frittata

Crisp, mineral-ladened, nice acid balance. This punches way above its weight. Opened to put mostly into bouillabaisse, but thoroughly enjoyed along with it. Not a vin de meditation, but just a solid cleanly made white that could easily be anyone's house white.

Opened to put in a scallop risotto, but enjoyed it with the finished product as well. Nice nose of stone fruits and dried flowers. In the mouth, a little clumsy but overall nice pear fruit, bitter almonds, and a nice core of chalk and minerals. Medium acid. Decent length. I have no experience with domestic pinot gris but this is rather nice. While nothing remarkable here, there is also nothing not to like. This should be enjoyed now for its freshness.

Lovely, light and crisp. Very enjoyable but would drink fairly soon.
