Having been to Oregon I was aware of the style of Pinot Noir generally produced there. This is one of the better examples I think - yes, it has the extraction and flesh you expect but the oak treatment is balanced and the wine itself finishes inherently savoury, with forest floor and anise characters. A wine of some interest.

Beautiful aromas of darker fruits, a little muted but apparent with time. Nice balance of smooth and a little crispness/acidity, paired very well with traditional cheese board apps, as well as without foods. Was just as expected and really consistent. Overall, a really lovely Pinot Noir.

More fruit forward and with more body than most Oregon PNs. An enjoyable wine, probably best with stronger flavored foods.

Pinot is perfect drinking age now. Wouldn't hold this much longer. Nice fruit. Cheers
