  • Good freshness, complexity, elegance, power, can very well age

  • Crisp minerality. Not a lot of fruit/floral note. Did evolve a bit more in glass to give a hint of strawberry, which was interesting. Went well with dumplings and edamame beans

  • This bottle was included in a "Lobenbergs Wein-Abo" subscription. Light yellow-golden colour. Light floral notes, citrus, yellow fruit, light tropical notes, and a smoky fire stone component. Medium-bodied, with a nice, creamy texture. Fairly ripe and broad, and very accessible for a young Chablis. Not at all what I expected, but very enjoyable. Food-friendly. No need to wait. For early and mid-term drinking.

  • By the glass. Quite traditional style, presenting a strong lemony character to match wild white flowers. Not minerality at all on the nose. Seashells either. Just a fair acidity so density clearly wins. Therefore the result is a weighty wine based in a creamy texture that lack acid in spite that citrus feature nose. A bit strange, I'm afraid.
