  Dark red/ruby. Some dark fruit and spice on the nose, more than previous wine, but not very aggressive. Palate is fresh, medium bodied, with just a touch of oak. Flavor develops as we eat -- looking forward to tomorrow. Day 2, after over an hour of additional air, if seems to settle down into a warm, slightly oaky, smooth bodied wine. Enough aroma and palate to not be boring, but I want more texture, more acid-tannin interplay.
