An elegant and restrained CA chardonnay. If guessing blind, I'd probably say Willamette Valley Chard. Pretty floral nose along with some tropical fruit; medium bodied with plenty of tangy acidity to carry the flavors of lemon, straw, oaky butterscotch. By no means is this an overblown wine. One substantial complaint is the very noticeable 14.5.% abv. With that down half to a full point, this could be borderline magical.

Not overly buttery, but definitely new age oak. Nice Chardonnay.
