The bottle is with screw cap. On opening, this Riesling has lots of citrus zest with hints of tropical fruits in the background. In the glass, the color is a clear, lemon yellow. The palate has grapefruit to the fore with a touch of minerality, refreshing acidity, slight effervescence (without visible gas bubbles) and a lingering bitter (but pleasant) finish. Alcohol is 12.5%.

{screwcap, 12.5%} Mid yellow. Some yellow lemon citrus, mild at first, but stronger as the bottle sits. Sweet lemony twist on the palate, acidity seems soft initially, then gains presence to medium weight. Somewhat developed as befitting five years age. Medium weight, but I find the finish a touch on the short side. Dry. Perhaps in a bit of a dip. Nice wine; another five years might see something more evolved emerge.

Glowing yellow/green. Sharp lime juice, lime cordial and white flowers on the nose. Bracing acidity. Lime, mineral notes. Really well defined with a long, linear finish. Bone dry. Great young Riesling, love to see it again in 5-10yrs. Could score higher.
