Turned a golden hue, some acid still remaining and could be cellared for a couple more years. Flavour notes of Kerosene/gun barrel are present but fade quickly, the wine has matured through that stage. Back palate flavours of honey, dried apricot and lemon rind.

Screwcap, 13% alc. Pale lemon, still with a green hue.
Lime, honeysuckle, and a hint of smoky grapefruit. A light toasty element in the background.
Lacks richness on the palate, particularly on entry, yet gains momentum in the back of the mouth and aftertaste. Waxy texture, but also with some water over rocks sensation. Vanilla, sawdust, blood orange; all in the back palate. Little flavour sensation on entry. Still quite tense and acidic but lacks fruit stuffing.
Opinion: drink up.

(Petaluma Riesling) #2; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-a soapy/cleaning product action; high acid; dried pineapple; a little orange blossom and a fig component; TASTE-nice steel action; nice acid; very fresh; gorgeous cantaloupe on the mid-palate and then really sour apple on the back-end (high acid); bring out the Oysters; this well worth the $17 bones; really well made; good acid; good fruit; very textbook New World Riesling; great with food; WS-91; GV-90

Screwcap, 13% alc. Pale, yellow gold.
Lemon, orange peel, peach, kero, fried spices, a gentle red berried lift. Light toasty development.
Balanced acid. A dense wall of flavour on the mid-back palate. Medium-full in weight. Powerful finish.
Opinion: Still youthful in many respects. Don’t serve too cold, and give it some air. Drink over next 7-8 years.

Screwcap, 13% alc. Bright, translucent yellow-green. Youthful appearance.
Lemon, lime, talc, and sea spray, white flowers, orange peel and lanolin aromas. Buttered toast highlights. Relatively youthful nose, but also displaying beautifully integrated bottle-aged complexity.
In the mouth, the wine shows a good amount of flavour and length. Has very firm, lemony acidity, but at the moment it is nicely balanced.
Opinion: Better than my recollection of the previous bottle. Drink now.
