  • Pulled from Vinotemp and drank after bottle warmed up to 65f - no decant - Riedel Wine line Burgundy glasses. Pale transparent red color with minor bricking. Nose was pleasant, not strong or penetrating - typical red fruit and still fresh . Wine was thin bodied with a soft attack. The fruit took around half an hour to start expressing itself and when it did it was sweet red fruit and cherry - not really any secondary flavors. The fruit had surprising depth given the transparency and thinness of the wine. Still had reasonable acid and was very slightly tart. Didn't notice any obvious wood - tannins were soft. A medium finish with moderate complexity. Overall a very pleasant and somewhat simple burgundy with very appealing sweet red fruit. Could last a few more years.
