  50 shades of Merlot (at home): Gabriel Gold. ~60min decant. Tasted blind.
  
  Dark ruby-red, with a nice small lighter rim. Ultrafine and complex fruit profile, I would like to smell this for hours. But it’s not a fruit bomb at all! The palate is like the nose: Very fruity, but so complex. You’ll find an interesting and animating mineral / lead-pencil note that makes it even more complex. By heard, this is damn good and it would be ridiculous to list how it really tastes, as it’s drop dead gorgeous. Definitely one of the best Merlots I ever had.
  
  Noteworthy, it has it’s price tag, yeah, it’s quite expensive for an Austrian one. Bute note, it’s worth it. It’s more than fairly priced, if you compare it to e.g. Bdx, top Italiens, Napa, …

  A Capella (Mirko’s Store): This smells like a liquid hommage to Parkers (in Dubai) Choco-Coffee Burger. Beetroot, chocolate, espresso. Awesome! There is also some licorice and herbs in the mix. Great wine!
