Bottled 2021. Rich dark mahogany - the colour of an antique desk. The nose is all old leather briefcase and comfy leather chair. It reminds me of the 'Brimax Mahogany Antique Furniture Polish' my father used in his workshop. The palate is rich dark and sumptuous but not overtly sweet. Finishes dry. Not an aperitif but OMG what a way to finish off a good meal. I would take this over a glass of port any day. £75 on the table is great value too.

A thick deep colored wine showing lots of cola and root beer on the nose with some dough notes as well. Swet on the attack with impeccable balance and an explosive and long sour apple finish. Bottled in 2018. This will improve in cask and merit an even higher score. One to buy in quantity at today's price and drink forever. "A"

Seriously good Malvasia. Oliveiras produces some great stuff. I think this is south side of the island Malvasia with real weight and power. The alcohol was noticeable but overall, a great Madeira.

Solid. Good but not great. An opened bottle improves significantly over weeks. Really good QPR.
