This evolved into something nice. Woody tones of red fruit, ripe strawberries, spices, and a whiff of cinnamon became richer, denser, and more integrated the longer it decanted. After two hours it shedded its woody edges, making the wine feel balanced, harmonious and flavorsome. Cool bottle shape and design too, and Joan Miró’s 1972 painting “Femme Espagnole” graces the label. 89+
