In het glas goudgeel, gemiddeld intens. In de neus zuiver, gemiddeld intens, primair peer, kruidig, krent en licht oxidatief. In de mond medium zuren, body. Het fruit komt. De afdronk fijn. Prima glas. Herfstig mooi.

A terrific white Rhône, especially at only $10/btl, when I purchased it at a small liquor store in Spicer, Minnesota. From its flavors I guessed the primary grapes to be grenache blanc and clairette, which the Delas website validates, plus bourboulenc and viognier (see http://www.delas.com/en/vin/26/saint-esprit). Surprisingly complex for a wine this inexpensive. I would love to know where the grape sources were.

Very ripe peachy nose
Juicy fruit, just a touch of bitterness, super creamy texture and a long finish
Good value at around £11.
