Drank it last night (90) with a grilled ribeye. Very good wine, maybe not as hearty as some Amador/Sierra foothills wine but it opened up nicely. Did not seem as robust as some other wineries in the area who have plied their skills with the Grandpere vineyard. Second night (91, my final score) it had opened up much more with notes of juniper berries and cedar. Again, not the most robust Amador Zin every, but certainly one of the most complex and elegant. Recommend it and recommend visiting the winery. I would say another year for this wine would make it sing even better, though if you are drinking now, give it lots of air.
