Liked this quite a bit. At first, I thought I detected some mocha oak, but it seemed to dissipate into a palate of dark fruit and some sous bois, yet rather light on its feet, with a very silky mouthfeel. With a couple of hours of air, there is a very nice core or soft, pink-tinged strawberry fruit. I intend to give remaining bottles another few years in the cellar, and I hope for a relaxation of structure and a more integrated, resolved palate. Right now it's quite nice, but will be better in 2-3 years
Curiously, I bought these recently at retail, yet they have Winebid stickers, which suggests to me that I am at least the third or fourth owner of these bottles. I'm rather pleased with this wine.

Garnet colored. Mild mannered wine and surprisingly softening since the vintage. FLoral nose, fairly pure. Lighter bodied, dusty tannins with enough acidity to balance. Red fruits/raspberry and bramble. Not much evidence of oak. Clean finish although not terribly long. Lovely pinot which is drinking fairly well fairly early.
