  Bought on sale for $3.50 (normally $6). For $3.50, it's a steal. For $6, less so, but still not bad. 85 points overall. Nothing egregiously wrong with it; just kind of simple and a bit boring, but I'd be perfectly fine bringing this to parties with people who don't care that much about the quality of wine. On the bright side, it tastes varietally correct and is distinctly Chard, so that probably makes it at least an 85 or so.
  
  Color: Yellow to slight tinges of green. Suggests a young Chard.
  
  Nose: Mix of green apple and butterscotch. Well within the Chard range.
  
  Taste: Not particularly high ABV (13.5%) and a bit thin on the finish initially. This improves with time in the glass though with it having a very distinct Lindemans finish (one of the first wines I ever had, and it has this very distinct finish that brings back some nice memories).
  
  Not a lot of bite initially, and not really any notable secondary flavors, but largely has a mix of green apple,pear (typical Chard flavors in this regard) and has a slight mango/guava flavor, which I don't associate with Chard, but I find appealing (have seen with Australian Viogniers in particular, although the better ones are significantly more complex than this about about 90 points). With air time, opens up surprisingly decently and tastes perfectly fine. Gets a bit of butterscotch secondary, but nothing herbal or mineral, which is expected for a cheap wine. Finish starts out rather short,but ends up being medium,with a somewhat pleasant finish. Would work pretty well with food too.
  
  Overall verdict: Not a great wine, but perfectly fine for the money, and certainly quaffable. Good wine for a wine beginner. I don't really find anything objectionable about it and it is varietally correct, which is more than what I can say for many $6 Chards.

  light lemon colour. not bad. nose: fresh peach + melon + nectarine; bit sweet. OK. taste: bit oaky, sweet fruits but with medium (+) acid; mango, peach, melon, nectarine plus light caramel notes; refreshing, medium (+) finish.

  Popped from a half bottle. Rather pleasant nose of vanilla and a whiff of pineapple. Medium bodied, dry, showing undetermined fruit with a hint of vanilla. Quite flat on the palate compared to the nose. Didn't cost much though.
