Didn’t do much for me — strawberries, a hint of baking spice and maybe some subtle smokiness. Feels a little flabby and loose on the palate to me, needs drive, feels it’s missing the palate intensity to match the its full body.

50% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah & Cinsault. 14.5% abv. Organic wine. Pop'n pour, served with homemade burgers. Pleasant nose, without any excessive heat, on black fruits (plums, blackberries, blackcurrants) and garrigue (thyme, lavender). There're also a touch of violet and some flattering spices. The palate is fleshy and generous with a medium+ body. The tannins do not exceed. Aromas of dark fruits, pepper and licorice all come together cohesively. It's well balanced, juicy and nicely fruity. That's the job it's asked to do, nothing else. Some naughty bitters wake the taste buds during the modest finish. An enjoyable and easy going wine for every day consumption. [Photo on Instagram]

This is a smoking good Côtes du Rhône and offers full-bodied aromas and flavors of blackberries, black raspberries, cassis, lavender, and flowers. It's rich and concentrated, yet also elegant, weightless, and layered, with notable complexity.
