Dark ruby in color, almost Inky, with a short reddish rim.
Strong fruity nose of blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, toasted cedar, vanilla, tobacco, Za'atar, chocolates, coffee, cola, black pepper, eucalyptus and spices.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, licorice, light cola, coffee, spices, tobacco, dark chocolates, light earth and black pepper.
Long spicy finish with fine grained tannins, peppercorn and cherries.
This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon from Stags Leap. Spicy and interesting. Showing great complexity and mouthfeel at this point.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime, when the tannins calm down.
This 6 year old Single Vineyard Cabernet, is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
I had this vintage a couple of years ago and it is even better now.
Delicious and engaging. Fruit forward and good by itself as a sipping wine.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
95 points.
$100.

Drank when Alex stayed after Jack bailed. Alex says it was her favorite of the three we had tonight. I say lots of plum and black currant. It’s great as always. Drank with cheese and crackers. Highly recommend. Maybe slightly more fruity.

Concentrated , aromatic, meaty and bulky exuding ripe blackberry, blueberry, licorice, plum, cigar box, vanilla and burnt caramel. Full body, medium acidity and long flavory finish. Well structured with compact tannins holding everything together. NI:5, FI: 22, FC:8, B:4, L:5

This is a wonderful Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Showing a great mouthfeel with great complexity.
Still young and will age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced, smooth, elegant and spicy. The spices hang on well after the long finish.
Delicious right out of the bottle with firm tannins that ease up, as it opens. I gave it a couple of hours in a decanter.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from a Single Vineyard.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
