Less opulent than the first time, and instead now showing a lot of the qualities that are uniquely Dujac. Strawberries, stems and spices laden with well integrated oak. The wine is lean and fresh.

Saturday late night at Maison Dakota. Tasted blind. Drank in Conterno Sensory. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of floral violets and some roses, red cherries, earth. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium- tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of succulent red cherries, polished red berries, salt minerality, savoury earth getting more and more apparent with more air time. Long finish. Very good quality. Elegant aérien feels. Hardly any of that Dujac stems spice thing here for me. Chambollesque. Drinking well already and should develop well over the next few years.

Glossy and polished red fruit. It is feminine and seamless. More Chambolle than Morey when it is served blind. For this particular bottle tonight, it is just missing that Dujac spice sensation.

wow, what a soaring bouquet! Succulent cherries, roses and spicy whole bunch. Immediately open and ravishing. Soft but full on the palate. I love this, but couldn’t put a good read on the quality level and terroir. I also couldn’t put it immediately in Dujac camp, because the fruit was so forthcoming and almost opulent.

PNP. Fresh nose of red fruits, clove with a bit of sandalwood from the stems. Tart and ripe palate, good balance between the transparent fruit and acidity. Glossy cherry on the palate, very succulent fruit that dances and lingers on the finish.
