The Fourrier, almost Jayer, hand begins to emerge. This bottle was very nice at times, uneven at others but showed a nice admixture with deft vilification . and very enjoyable now after a year or two of turbulent evolution. Very nice Burgundian dark cherry notes along with some Gevrey animale and more of the excellence we expect of him.

Gobs of juicy Pinot fruit in the house style, clean and seductive without coming across heavy handed. Nicely textured. Drinking surprisingly well today but should improve for as few more years as still a bit structured.

Wow… this is a Bourgogne? Really overpreforms. The nose is alpine blueberries for days. Palate is just chalk full of sappy red fruit. Similar to the village Gevrey, but lacks the spice/gaminess. Still though - straight down the middle delicious. I hope the 19 hits this level because I drank one earlier this year and it was just too tight.

No decant, which it needed. Expressive blue fruit and metallic reduction, unmistakably Fourrier. Light on palate, as expected. I am drinking through my 17s too quickly, but they are drinking really well. 90-91

Last bottle of 12 and it tasted great, bags of juicy fruit with a little underlying seriousness.
