A very good Bourgogne from the legendary Benjamin Leroux. Light but with enough density, balanced acidity and fresh red fruit aromatics with a hint of sweet spice.

Utterly charming. Medium ruby, bright red cherry/pomegranate nose, palate is similarly bright, with vivid red berries and just-ripe cherries - beautifully made, with a perfect balance - sexy and enticing, with great depth and breadth considering the humble origins.

Very bright translucent red--one of the least extracted color schemes I've seen in a Pinot. Still carried some nice body, however. Tart red fruits, some pepper/smoke, a bit tightly wound. Close to being very good, but somewhat one dimension in the flavor profile and never really gets all the way there. Screwcap, which is cool for a Burg.

Purchased EP, delivered today, unscrewed and poured at delivered temperature (low teens Celsius)!
Bright translucent ruby colored, medium viscosity, nice legs. Somewhat mute nose, red berries, hint of cherries, earthy stems, some spice - definitely burgundy, not new world. Sour cherries, good acidity, smooth well-managed tannins. Tasty, gluggable, but a little short.
Good, but preferred the 2017 Fourrier Bourgogne tasted at a zoom masterclass with JM Fourrier last month.

Everything you could ask for in a Bourgogne. Drinking very well. Lovely light and expressive red.
