Lovely perfumed red fruits but needs a little time in the glass to unfurl its secrets. Not overly complicated but a lighter elegant Bourgogne rouge with enough wood spice and structure to hold a few more years. Lovely drop….the 2017 Chambolle is leagues above for elegance and complexity.

Think I will leave this a few more years for the next bottle. Tightly wound and only just giving away the beginnings of some subtle red cherry. Nothing unpleasant or unbalance though just think too young

I truly enjoy their elegant, lighter-handed style, but I must say that I think this Bourgogne Should show a bit better than it is right now. On the lighter side of these higher -quality Bourgogne rouges, It develops with some air a nice darker and richer profile but never really reveals the excellence or fruit that one experiences, for example, with Bachelet or Fourrier.

Admittedly this wine is way too young to drink but it was very closed even though I double decanted it. Very perfumed nose but the body is very muted and in the end, I just gave up. But what it chose to communicate, I could detect earthiness, mushroom and some cherry - I suspect this could become quite savoury in a few years.
Drink in 5+ years.

Dark red fruits with a mineral core. Primary but approachable now in its current form. Even at this level she has great touch. Enjoy!
