Medium gold colour. Vanilla, some citrus and a bit of exotic fruit. Not too much oak, definitely on the lighter side of American Chardonnay. Adicity is quite pronounced, but not too much either. For only 10 euros, this wine has an amazing QPR!

Chardonnay from Livermore Valley fermented 50% in neutral American oak barrels and 50% in stainless steel tanks. Medium straw hue in the glass with aromas of green apple, butterscotch and citrus peel. Tart acidity on the palate with notes of juicy pear, pineapple, toasted oak and citrus. A little heat on the finish.

Nothing special, but certainly palatable especially for a twist off (WHICH I HATE). Clean & Crisp some apple and a touch of oak but pretty light. No metallic aftertaste is a plus. Better options in this price range but fine for what it was.

(Wente Vineyards Chardonnay Morning Fog Livermore Valley) Light medium yellow color; butter, lemon cream, light vanilla nose; tasty, juicy, lemon cream, lemon gelee palate with balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (a very good value at this price point; 13.5% alcohol; screwcap)
