Medium gold colour. Vanilla, some citrus and a bit of exotic fruit. Not too much oak, definitely on the lighter side of American Chardonnay. Adicity is quite pronounced, but not too much either. For only 10 euros, this wine has an amazing QPR!

Chardonnay from Livermore Valley fermented 50% in neutral American oak barrels and 50% in stainless steel tanks. Medium straw hue in the glass with aromas of green apple, butterscotch and citrus peel. Tart acidity on the palate with notes of juicy pear, pineapple, toasted oak and citrus. A little heat on the finish.

Nothing special, but certainly palatable especially for a twist off (WHICH I HATE). Clean & Crisp some apple and a touch of oak but pretty light. No metallic aftertaste is a plus. Better options in this price range but fine for what it was.

Retail $18. 98% Chardonnay, 2% Gewürztraminer. 50% fermented in neutral oak, and that half was aged 5 months in barrel sur lies, with bâtonnage monthly. This certainly falls into the "traditional California Chardonnay" camp with lemon curd, tropical fruit, vanilla, and subtle oak on the nose. The palate is round, luscious, and rich with many of the same characteristics as the nose. If you like big, juicy, and somewhat oaky Chards, here you go. thedrunkencyclist.com

The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are slow. It smells like pear, and green apple with hints of citrus. It tastes like rich tropical fruit, honeydew melon, pear and green apple, with bright citrus and very restrained on the oak. The body is full. The wine has a bright texture and finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

SWW – Eko, wege, biodynamo, orange (On-line): Light color, sweet nose with secondary notes of candies, vanilla. Easy drinking with medium acidity and a short finish. Good for a summer barbecue.

Crisp, light and refreshing. A welcome change from the Kendall-Jackson butter bombs we have tended to drink lately. This is balanced and elegant - with just a touch of oak, but still an unmistakably California Chardonnay. At the sale price of $8.25 a bottle, we could drink an awful lot of this. 50+5+12+15+6=88

This is a nice, well balanced, California style chardonnay. Starts out with a buttery malo nose followed by a well balanced mid-palate and smooth finish. Nice chardonnay for sipping or with food. Great value.

Pale golden colour. The nose was not expressive at first but it began to develop as the wine warmed substantially above fridge temperature when it gradually showed aromatic character with citrus and gentle spice flavours. Better after 3h (at ca. 12C) when the palate offered citrus (with lemon curd, as mentioned by Wente), some vanilla from the oaked portion of the wine, and subtle pear flavours. A little later, peach flavours added to the pear. The wine had good acidity with moderate length. It accompanied lightly smoked haddock poached in milk very well. The food brought out a little more sweetness in the wine. After a night in the fridge, there was more 'sweet' tropical fruit but some underlying acidity remained on the long palate. 89+

Purchased in restaurant to accompany lobster thermidore. Deep lemon gold colour. Took a while to open in the glass. Nose shows apples and lemon. Palate is rich, theres a nice balance of acidity and it's not overcooked. Nice wine overall, but not memorable.

Nez vanillé, notes boisées et un peu de citron. Même impression en bouche sur une point d’amertume en finale. Générique mais bien fait et sans excès sur le chêne.

Really well balanced, a little buttery oak, a little citrus. Held up well over multiple days open. Really pleasant everyday drinker.

Extremely fresh with notes of lemon, apricots, and honey due melon. Not “oaky,” and an exceptional value.

Nice Chard for $14. I would drink this everyday for a daily wine. Well made. Judicious use of oak and nice acidity and fruit. Well balanced.

In complete agreement with my note of August 14, right down to the 'lemon curd' character. Very enjoyable.

Intressting and very clean taste of Green apple, pear and honey. Served around 9c. It needed about 30 mins outsider the refrigerator to expand.
