First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind. Honey, oxidised notes, lemon, touch of volatility, dirty and slightly meaty with a dusty quality. Sour on the palate, still going through malolactic judging by the prickle and throw, salty notes as well. Ugh, disturbing. I guessed Georgian Amphora based but went with 2018.

Vinosphere (Town Hall, Sydney): Glue, slight vinegar and an odd fishy note, a bit like seafood with a sweet apple sauce but, and this sounds increasingly odd, not in a bad way. Just, well, odd.
