($14) Great intense grass and gooseberry. Loads of varietal character all the while maintaining balance. I feel like I have witnessed a decline in the quality of this wine from 1997 to 2000. Each vintage has gotten less extreme and more like a bland California Sauvignon Blanc. Still many leaps above others all the same.

($16) Herbs, grass, lime zest nose, ripe balanced palate with expected Sauvignon Blanc acidity. Good concentration. One of my favorite Sauvignon Blancs.

($18) Great extreme Sauvignon Blanc, dare I say that is seems less complete and mouth filling than the 98 though?
