Great little fruitbomb of a qpr with bright blackberry and dark cherries and a nice acidic lift. Good dark rich garnacha in the glass with some new oak vanilla notes and already sleek tannins. Almost too fresh at the present, it should mellow nicely over the next year or two.

color: medium-dark red velvet; nose: cherry, oak, menthol; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, slightly sweet fruit, not bright, medium-length finish with light tannins; overall: meh...ordinary, overly sweet, plump, close to being a fruit bomb, tastes like a sloppy shiraz, so-so QPR ($11/bottle at PA State Store)...lots of better peers at same price point...PASS

Nose: a little lifted, sweet fruit, some woody depth. Palate: sweet fruit on pop n pour, chills out to something still fruity but more savory with medium acid, medium tannin, clearly high alcohol but well integrated all things considered. Still holding strong 2 hours after opening, starting to fall apart a little after 4 hours. Impressive stuff, good QPR. 15.5%, $8.

Meh- it’s pretty fruit Bomby and extracted. Tastes like drinking a blueberry pie. A bit sweet too. There are better Spanish wines at this price point.

came across as fruity and grapy, without much structure and not very interesting.
