I guess my first reaction is from reading the label. Why any bottle of California Napa Chardonnay needs an alcohol level of 15.7% is beyond me. Bright faint yellow, almost clear, vodka like in the glass. A nose of alcohol, lemon citrus and little fruit. Dry, flushed with oak and a long finish. My final reaction is drawn from my lips which are now numb. Remind me to have a bottle on hand the next time I am in need of oral surgery. This is not what a wine experience is meant to be.
