Color:yellow corn Nose:pear, flowers, citrus Taste:pear, honeysuckle, vanilla, lemon citrus This is well integrated flavors with plenty of pear, lemon and honeysuckle finished by a smooth glycerin, vanilla taste. Very enjoyable with no overt oaky flaboes

While this medium-to-deep golden Chardonnay was fermented and aged in French oak (40% new), it was not allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation. Because of this, it possesses a degree of vibrancy that supports its pear, green apple, chamomile, honeysuckle and caramel flavors. Medium-bodied and with seamless alcohol (listed as 13.6%), it stays solid on the mid-palate and finishes long. This is a nicely structured Chardonnay, but the oak has become even more prominent than it was when last tasted 4/15/18. Drink now-2021.

This medium golden Chardonnay was entirely fermented and aged in French oak (40% new), but did not undergo malolactic fermentation. As such, while fairly oaky, it retains a nice degree of freshness that provides lift to its core of pears, green apples, chamomile, honeysuckle and caramel. Medium-bodied and with seamless alcohol (listed as 13.6%), it has impressive mid-palate density and finishes with good length. This wine will deservedly have many fans, but for my taste, a lighter hand with the oak would have resulted in a better product. Drink now-2021.

It was nice but not spectacular. Was hoping for a little more wow but enjoyed it anyway!
