Opened at the LRC in HK, shared by a friend. Slow-oxed for 2 hours before enjoying.
This felt quite reductive, even with some air. Aromatics started opening up slightly in the glass, but it was tight and not very showy. There was clear structure, coming across as quite meaty, but it was hard to assess it too much beyond this.
Gets a 90 because I think there is underlying quality there, but definitely hold for a while. I'd revisit in 5+ years at least, but this will keep for a long time.

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Also lighter styled, this shows plenty of red and black cherry throughout but with excellent balance and grace. Some meaty character on finish, this has 91-92 point potential based on whether or not it picks up greater density in the cellar.
