Dark ruby in the glass, almost leaning to garnet. The perfumed nose leads with sour red cherry, magnolia flowers, tomato leaf and dried oregano. Plenty of acidity provides for a juicy palate of cherry and cranberry fruit followed by a lingering pepper and spice note. Tannins are dusty and subtle leading to a tart, dry finish.

Dark purple in the glass. Nose of sour cherry, tobacco leaf, black fruits. No mistaking it for something other than cab franc. Palate echoes the nose nicely with a velvety mouthfeel leading to a tangy but balance finish. Really nice stuff and no rush on these - though this was my only bottle.

Tasted over two days, much better on day 2. Real character, dry, chalky, pronounced acidity, very good baæance. A cool cat, long life ahead., #Kandestederne

Nydelig og ekstremt druetypisk cab franc med lær, paprika, hint av blod på duft. Leskende og pen balanse i munn. Nydelig vin til f.eks due

Thanksgiving Weekend in Willamette; 11/25/2021-11/27/2021 (Willamette Valley OR): Ripe black fruit with lots of meaty notes, this was Cab Franc without much dirt… for better and worse, but not yet completely integrated. Lush start, tannic finish.
