Medium(+) acidity(!, high for viognier), dry, pronounced floral aromas and flavours. Well balanced between acidity, fruit intensity and concentration. Long finish. Best viognier I have tasted. Probably at its peak now.

Lots of minerality. It did not go well with mussels and needs something bigger, perhaps spicy food. More intense than a Sauvignon Blanc. Will want to know how the next bottle tastes.

I took this to a lunch and served it blind, but with about 200 years of wine experience present nobody was really close in identifying it. It did show varietally correct after warming a bit, but not really a good exemplar of Condrieu. The stone fruit - more nectarine than apricot - was a bit lean, and there was a bite on the finish. Ultimately, much better than the bottle I had nearly three years ago, but darn finicky.

Huge rich viscous viognier.
