This one is now showing more wood than wine, not particularly meant for long aging, feels like a nice cool climate Rhone, a bi spicy, herb, crunch red fruit, hint of olives, decent balance but drink up. Not likely to improve with more age.

No notes taken at the time. Decanted 30 mins with beef kabobs. Good dark rose color. Nice black fruits, decent glycerin, about 30 min finish. Nice blend. 88 pts B+.

deep cherry red --- Nosegreen aspects, olive, bread crust --- Mouthfeel cool, watery, acidic --- Palate cherry meets olive, lots of tannins, bark, hint of herbs --- finishes on cherries, some plum, strong tannins, nice minerality. Still young but I am not sure this one is getting old.

90% Syrah 10%Mourvedre. Some old school aromas going here, smells like the olive bar, balsamic herbs, dried berries and black plums. Surprising ripeness on the palate, good density to raspberry flavors which helps the fruit stand up to waves of spice, phenol, and olive tapenade. Their is a good deal of tannins but they are fine grained and ripe. Rostaing manages a lot of Northern Rhone style here in this well made, if somewhat pricey, Coteaux du Languedoc.

A little past its time but still nice syrah from legendary N. Rhone producer.
