Excellent nose Decanted for an hour and drank over two more but never lost the dense, heavy nature. Good wine and some French Pinot tones but never becomes complex, or it’s weight makes it difficult to discern any finesse

Dark ruby, quite dense for a Burgundy. Ripe nose of dark fruit with cloves, cake background, reminds be a bit of the a California Pinot almost. This is clearly not your red fruit light, Chambertin like Fourrier, quite the opposite, but good nevertheless. Medium-full bodied with good freshness, soft tannins. Still young, approachable now but better keep for another 3 years before drinking.

Just a bit too much mushroom from the cork. There’s a deep, dark concentrated wine beneath the mustiness.
