Medium garnet, fading at the edge, with only flashes of brick color. Pleasant nose of black cherry, wood stave, pine notes. Medium body on the palate, well balanced toward the rich side. Juicy finish with zero tannins. It seems that this Cinsault has been given an old-school Lodi treatment with deep extraction and rich flavors. As the number shows, I dissent. Oh it’s fine & drinkable, but I think it misses the potential of this grape at this site.

This is a really enjoyable medium bodied wine. Smooth with lots of dark red fruit and nothing out of place. Slightly bitter finish. Outstanding QPR.
