  Med + ruby with a garnet rim and thick legs, showing a lot of extraction. Med (+) to intense overripe, baked black cherry, fig Newton, milk chocolate, coconut, vanilla and sweet baking spices. Dry but very fruit-forward, with med acidity and tannins. Ridiculous alcohol (16.2%) which does not taste quite so high. Full-bodied, with med (+) flavor intensity and length. Not likely to improve with further aging. Zinfully good. Tried again on 3/20/23 with consistent results.
