  • A bit on the lighter side of Bordeaux blends, but great quality nonetheless. Medium ruby in the glass. Aromatics here are quite linear, nothing's jumping out in your face, but there is no subtlety either. Surprisingly smooth. I was expecting more acid to be in focus taking into consideration the vintage, but no - the wine is super fine and slick. The oak is in the background playing its role perfectly. Tannins are fine, acid is present. Long, smooth finish. A classic I would always come back to or recommend to guests. Well done Pierro.
