This was fantastic. A dense purple wine that coats the glass and has loads of rich black fruit, tobacco, oak and a hint of sweet vanilla on the finish. Giving it 94 points and I think it's pretty much at its peak right here. I am going to try to find more of this super interesting and delicious wine.

Somehow I managed to stay away from the second bottle of this for almost 9 months. It's a miracle! Drinking a little better than the last one did. Definitely seems more consolidated, more dense. Went well with teriyaki honey shrimp and herbed quinoa. Youthful fig, sweet plums, dense, compact, was a 93 the last time and closer to a 94 this time. Finishes with great density. Some tannin but nice mature rounded finish. Can hold another 5-7 years but ripe drinking probably now until about 2024.
A nice PV. William Harrison anniversary PV outdoes it quite easily, but this wine is delish. Pours like ink! Nose is a mix of floral and candied black fruit. Darker mulberry cassis(?) and violets. Thick and dense wine. Finishes with a mixed bag of dense black fruits and pepper. Going to hold nicely for the next 5 to 7 years but I think drinking these now wouldn't be a bad idea!
