Clear deep ruby; clean medium plus nose of jammy red cherries and cinnamon; dry; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter; medium plus finish; drink now or in a few years; very fresh and unobtrusive but not particularly interesting

Look like my last bottle may have been an anomaly as this last bottle soared to the same heights as previous tastings. Red plum, blackberry, green peppercorn, graphite and sweet tobacco on the nose. Robust and balanced on the palate. Silky and succulent, with flavors of tart red berries, zesty black fruit, hints of blueberry and a smoky sweet finish with lingering pepperiness. Deeply impressive and mature credit to the Yorkville Highlands.

Not as good as I recall. 2.5h air. Medium purple color. Cherry, plum sauce, black raspberry, baking spice and graphite notes. Juicy and jammy on the palate: red and black fruit, with baking spice, menthol and salinity. Not enough structure to cut through the jammy fruit, in my opinion.
