This is a dark purple wine as expected for a perfectly extracted malbec. The flavors are very typical with plum, blackberry, vanilla and some chocolate. The body is full and the consistency is rich with a lingering finish. It also has a powerful intensity with an intricate complexity. This is a big wine that's very enjoyable now, but will easily last another 20 years. The tannins are still firm. Overall this is a great wine that's worth sitting on.

Don’t give this rating lightly but it’s frankly the best Malbec I’ve ever tasted. A Malbec for Burgundy lovers. First time tasting it was at the legendary steakhouse ‘Don Julio’ in Buenos Aires last year. Firing on all cylinders now but likely has 5-10 years easily. Lush perfume, integrated oak, soft tannins.

This is just an amazing and truly enjoyable pure malbec. I recommend decanting for 2 hours so you tgat wine opens up and you can enjoy the smoothness and elegance. This has an incredible aroma of blackberries, strawberries, and coffee.
