  • Plum color somewhat on the dark side. Nothing remarkable on the nose until opened for more than an hour. Good feel in the mouth. Sour flavors predominate, maybe sour cherry or raspberry. Finish is dirt dried leaves. Interesting, but not my preference.

  • Decanted about 3 1/2 hours. Strong aromas of black cherry and forest floor, along with a bit of brown spice, some floral notes, and a touch of strawberry. The palate is very silky, with loads of sour cherry, mushrooms, and a little spice. The finish is long and pleasant.
