Been a bit since I’ve gone Oregon Pinot. Had a couple of these tucked away. Not many notes which is expected from small production and only 2nd vintage bottled. Paired with pineapple pizza and cookie cake for dessert.
Popped slow ox 1hr. First taste packed with tart cherry and cranberry jam which Carries the moderate length. Transparent ruby in glass, damp soil, green tea on the nose balances well. Very dry and sharp acid and alcohol 14.6%.
Early in window, alc and acid should give good longevity and I’m interested to see where it goes. 93pts today.

Oregon-style pinot, but a bit fuller bodied. Cherries and some spices with soft tannins.

Full bodied for a Oregon Pinot. Favorite of the three wines we tasted. Many complex notes.
