Stood up, small amount of fine sediment in the last oz decanted off. Light ruby, age-appropriate bricking for nebbiolo; aromatic, strawberry, roses, some spice; palate is light bodied, high but approachable tannin, high but balanced acidity, plenty of bright red fruits, balanced alcohol, savory and elegant; medium length finish. Really lovely, though it did need an hour to open up and integrate a bit before it was enjoyable. Overall this is still young and will be better in a few years though enjoyable now/soon. 92-93

Such an elegant and beautiful wine which seems to all finesse. Dark fruit and earth on the nose which translates to the palate with some well balanced acidity and tannin. Everything is well integrated with no one part overwhelming the others. This has some years left to it but is so delicious now and at a great price point.

Good structure, light bodied, served with Roasted Veggies, Pasta and Red Meat dishes. Tight aroma until 15 minute decant: opened up into dark stonefruit - dried prune, deep plum notes. Concentration of caramelized sugar on the nose.

Bought in 2019 at Rovellotti's stunning winery. Seductive nose of raspberries, minerals and green tea. Lots of finesse and elegance, forest berries, tea leaves and the typical stony (Alpine) minerals as they only exist in Northern Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta. Creamy finish. Impressive today but with excellent future potential. This one's a long distance runner.

92+ Who needs barolo? Subtle development with more potential.
N: Haunting, intense mix of old oaky leathery creamy toast base note, finessed red summer berries, crushed rocks, metallic/iodine, potpourri spice/old incense. Hot sauce? 94 point nose.
P: Med-full, translucent. Spicy red forest fruits, intense red apple grippy skin, cherry & cranberry juice, undercut with rusty penny, smashed rocks, red petals freshness, bergamot potpourri. Med+ acid & high- tannins. Floating texture.
