fresh dark berry fruit nose, no oak detected. Medium body with dark fruit flavors, some leather and powder texture on the finsh which is short but has good tannic grip but low acidity. Some sweetness on the finish also. More old world. Pretty good for $12. This is one of those wines people should be buying in the $10-$12 range instead of other standard inexepnsive wines out there.

100% Touriga Nacional 10 months in French oak casks + 12 months in bottle prior to release. Wow! This is one the best wines I've ever had in this price range. Nose: ripe red fruits...essentially cherries....lots of ripe and sweet cherries....sweet aromas come out of the glass....delicious. Mouth: full body....lots of cherries again. Velvety texture, round, firm tannins, chewy...a bit rustic (in a good way)...at the end you'll taste the sweetness of the very ripe fruits. Very good wine indeed. Totally recommended! It paired fantastically well with a juicy piece of meat.

Seemed like a lot of fruit still and a lot going on. Sadly, it was corked.

Very tasty and focused. Richer flavors than I would have imagined, with raspberries and cherries dominating.

Powerful, ink, berries, smooth. Enjoyable, but not memorable.
