  • Truly graceful Pinot Noir from a cold climate. Cranberry, strawberry, forest floor, smoke, cola and white pepper on the nose. Velvety tannins, juicy red fruit on entry, with an earthy streak in the finish.

  • By the glass. Best known for its range of CS bottles within the Stag Leap area, it also produces this PN obtained from the freshest Carneros. The result is a dense wine, with an authentic grip on the palate, with depth if you avoid the stumbling block of the tremendous weight of the fruit excessively ripe for my little trained palate. It’s not for me, but I understand they have a legion of supporters across the pond. Well done.

Bien hecho.

  • Overall a nice bottle of wine. Cherry, coca cola on initial pour/taste. Light crisp developed after 30 minutes with acid present. Decent structure not overly austere will pair nicely with grilled chicken, turkey and light creamy pasta. Lower alcohol which allows the fruit to show through.

Nice to see CdV coming back.

  • A fantastic Pinot - not overbearing fruit, a touch of spice, and a little bit of earth. Almost more Oregonian in style. Loved it! 👍🏻

    Enjoyed with the Llanos.
