First time tasting this wine from jamet - had hoped it was good and must say it really was - quite elegant for white Rhône nut with creaminess almost felt like white burgundy. Alas my only bottle but definitely but again if I see it

Mandarin?!, pear, jasmine, toast, sweet corn?!, slightly tropical on the nose - as it livens up in the glass, lots of white flowers. Not at all flabby on the palate. Super smooth, and the oily character from the viognier, but a streak of acid on the palate to maintain the drinkability. Fantastic.

Jamet Day (Ada St.): Served nice and cold, which benefited the wine as the florals and beeswax had room to shine as the palate wasn't too heavy/oily which is normally the case with N. Rhones and my palate. Solid if served well below cellar temp.

Jamet Day (Chicago, IL): Served with an extra chill, which gives this a little more burst of freshness than not. Not too high in alcohol, but certainly a little lower in acidity than I like for my white wines. On the other hand, the floral aromas are actually quite pleasing here, and there's a honeyed note on the palate that's quite nice. Readily drinkable, but not too complex.
